Acronix-219®

Organic acid corrosion inhibitor, Organic and Inorganic (non-HCl)

Description

Acronix-219 is an Organic Acid liquid Corrosion Inhibitor. It is a cationic product, effectively protects metal against corrosive attack from organic acids such as acetic, citric and formic acid. It is also effective in preventing corrosion due to sulphuric and phosphoric acids.

Application

Acronix-219 should be considered where corrosion protection against oxygen and organic acids is desirable. Acronix-219 not recommended for formic acid concentrations above 8%, unless the formic acid is mixed with a large amount of acetic acid.

Acronix-242®

Acid corrosion inhibitor (HCl, Mud Acid)

Description

Acronix-242 is a newly developed environmentally sensitive acid corrosion inhibitor for use in Oil and Gas well acidizing operations. It is a result of many years of research and was developed with specific features that have been requested by operators and environmental agencies around the world.

Application

Acronix-242 is effective in all Hydrochloric Acid concentrations up to 28%. Acronix-242 may be added to the dilution water prior to the addition of concentrated HCI or it may be added directly to the various concentrations of HCI.

Acronix-263®

H2S scavanger (H2S)

Description

The Aquaness Acronix-263 hydrogen sulphide scavenger is a proprietary formulation designed to remove hydrogen sulfide. Acronix-263 scavenger is soluble in treatment fluids ensuring complete uniformity of the stimulation treatment.

Application

This product is designed to be applied in acidic stimulation treatment to defend against the detrimental effects of hydrogen sulfide on acid corrosion inhibitors.

Acronix-277®

Corrosion inhibitor for sulfides (H2S)

Description

The Acronix-277 inhibitor from Aquaness, is an oilsoluble, brine-dispersible corrosion inhibitor that reduces the effects of hydrogen sulfide in stress corrosion cracking processes.

Application

Acronix-277 inhibitor is superior to normal corrosion inhibitors when used in systems experiencing failure due to cracking. Acronix-277 inhibitor retards crack growth thereby extending life of metal goods. It can be applied by batch treatment or placement in treating fluids.

Acronix-284®

Hydrochloric acid inhibitor (HCl)

Description

The Aquaness Acronix-284 corrosion inhibitor is a highly dispersible, organic based hydrochloric acid corrosion inhibitor. It is designed for use in hydrochloric acid-based stimulation fluids up to and including 28% HCl up to 250°F.

Application

This inhibitor is especially useful for applications in areas where environmental sensitivity and compatibility issues are an overriding concern. It is compatible with inhibitor intensifiers which may be used to further extend temperature limits or increase contact times of the inhibitor. Further, Acronix-284 inhibitor has been formulated to remove a serious objection to many similar products.

Acid corrosion inhibitor (HCl)

Description

Acronix-289 hydrochloric acid corrosion inhibitor is an effective, highly dispersible, internally intensified, quaternary amine, organic based hydrochloric acid corrosion inhibitor. It is designed especially for use at higher temperatures.

Application

Acronix-289 corrosion inhibitor is designed for use in hydrochloric acid-based stimulation fluids up to and including 28% HCl with the operating temperature up to 325 °F. Acronix-289 corrosion inhibitor is compatible with inhibitor intensifiers which may be used to further extend temperature limits or increase contact times of the inhibitor.

Acid corrosion inhibitor intensifier (HCl)

Description

Acronix-292 Hydrochloric Acid Corrosion Inhibitor Intensifier is an additive designed to extend the performance of organic based acid corrosion inhibitors. It is a copper-based intensifier with improved solubility over that found with similar iodide-based copper compounds.

Application

Acronix-292 Inhibitor, when used with HCl inhibitors, will provide extended contact times and improved inhibitor performance over that found with use of HCl inhibitors alone. It is especially effective in higher concentrations of acid: up to 28% HCl.
