Setting Time Modifiers (Cemakoll®) — Retarders
Cemakoll-116 is a low temp cement retarder used to increase the setting time of the oil well cement and provide increased thickening time for cement slurries to enable proper placement. It is designed for low-temperature wells, performing best up to 180 °F (82 °C) and is stable at up to 110 °C. Cemakoll-116 is compatible with all API classes of cement and can be used in Fresh water and Salt Water or Sea Water cement Slurries.
