Setting Time Modifiers (Cemakoll®) — Retarders
Cemakoll-118 is a specialty cementing slurry additive used to increase the setting time of the Oilwell Cement and provide increased thickening time for Cement Slurries to enable proper placement. It is a high-temp cement retarder specifically formulated for deep oilfield wells, where bottom- hole circulating temperatures (BHCT) are over 350°F (175°C) or slightly higher. It is stable up to 200°C. Cemakoll-118 is compatible with all API classes of cement and can be used in Fresh water and Salt Water or Sea Water cement Slurries.
