Mechanical Property Enhancers (Cemakoll®) — Micro-Fibres

Cemakoll-162 is made of boroglinosilicateglass containing less than 1% alkali. It is produced in the form of a cut roving with a nominal cutting length of 3 - 48 mm. The fibre surface is covered with sizing in which aminosilane was used, as means of chemically active agent responsible for chemical affinity. Chopped strands are desinned for reinforcement of thermoplastics, mainly polyamides, as well as phenoplasts, by means of injection and extrusion moulding. Packaging Chopped strands are packed in polyethylene bags (550 x 950 x 0,09 mm), and then into one large carton (1200 x 900 x 1000 mm).
