Cemakoll-242 is an anionic polyelectrolyte based proprietary additive uniquely formulated to be used for removal of excess or “bad” water that surfaces up during drilling fluid or borehole application. Excessive water during production affects oil well efficiency and reduces their operational life. The presence of water in the bore not only increases the fluid column’s load but also increases lifting requirements. Use of Cemakoll-242 ensures complete elimination of undesired water production during water shut off operations. The product is non-corrosive and is absolutely safe on all types of materials and alloys.
