Gelling Agents (AGA®) — Gel Stabilizers

AGA-150 is a liquid high temperature gel stabilizer for water-based fracturing fluids that helps to maintain the viscosity of fracturing gels at temperatures above 200°F. AGA-150 can be used in addition to 5%v/v Methanol for additional stability at very high temperatures. AGA-150 avoids the use of nonylphenol ethoxylates, EGMBE, diesel, methanol, and BTEX. Recommended application AGA-150 is typically used at 3-6 gallons per 1000 gallons of fluid. It can be added directly into the blender tub. AGA-150 is generally compatible with nonionic, amphoteric, anionic, and cationic additives. A compatibility test is advised before use.
