Gelling Agents (AGA®) — Breakers
AGA-460 AP Breaker is a white crystalline oxidizing breaker that is readily soluble in water. AGA-460 can be added to viscous polysaccharide gum gels to destroy the gel viscosity. AGA-460 will oxidize the polymer backbone causing it to become less viscous. AGA-460 works to break viscous polysaccharide gel solutions prepared from guar, HPG, CMHPG, HEC or CMHEC.
