Gelling Agents (AGA®) — Crosslinkers

AGA-530 is an environmentally conscious, easy to use liquid cross-linking additive for fracturing fluids. This product is formulated to cross-link guar and guar derivative fluid systems. The low crystallization point of AGA-530 (<-35°F) ensures this product’s ease of use in sub-freezing environments. AGA-530 is a uniquely formulated delayed crosslinker that will help reduce friction, surface treating pressure and hydraulic horsepower requirements. AGA-530 is added continuously during fracturing fluid pumping operations and produces a unique gel structure down-hole that is elastic and thermally stable. AGA-530 exhibits improved sand transport into fractures and the ability to re-heal itself and form a stable gel structure after shearing.
