Surfactants (Aquative®) — Non-Emulsifiers

Aquative-520 stuck pipe additive is a spotting fluid that is capable of being weighted up. It is designed to free differentially stuck pipe or produce spacers to give clean displacement of water based muds to oil muds. It is recommended for use in systems where an un-weighted spotting fluid would disperse in a highly weighted mud. The material reduces torque and drag, and has excellent barite suspension and carrying capacity. Powerful emulsifiers allow formulations of up to 18 lb/gal (S.G. 2.15). A general level of 6% is normally sufficient to free any stuck pipe problem. Typical physical properties Appearance Light Brown Viscous Liquid S.G @ 20°C Temp.
