AXA-135
Clay Stabilizers (AXA®) — Quaternary Ammonium Salts
AXA-135 is as a very effective clay stabilizer. It functions through ion exchange, where cationic oligomer provides a cation to replace the native, solubilized clay cation (typically sodium). AXA-135 is water miscible, low toxicity and a multifunctional additive for drilling fluids, used in Medium to High Salinity Systems. It is used in water based drilling fluid to improve shale stability and extends the temperature stability and Filtration Control. It can be used in most water based Mud Systems.
